Titolare e contatti

Controller and contact details

The controller is Focus Europe ETS, Via Giovanni Verga 10, 95041 Caltagirone (CT), Italy, tax code 97477470583. For privacy enquiries and data rights: privacy@focuseurope.org. For programme enquiries: info@focuseurope.org · +39 388 653 0801.

Data and purposes

The form is intended for adult representatives of schools, authorities and organisations, and other interested contacts. It is not a student registration form. Please do not submit children’s names, health information, identity documents or other unnecessary personal data.

We process your name, organisation or school, email and pathway of interest; optionally your role, telephone, territory, estimated number of students, period, resources or funding, and message. The form language and acknowledgement of this notice are also processed. This information helps us understand your enquiry, reply, arrange a discussion and prepare a possible proposal. Information provided by email, telephone or WhatsApp is used to respond through the selected channel.

Hosting systems may process connection data, including IP addresses, date and time, requested resources and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. The form uses a session token against unauthorised submissions and an antispam counter linked to an identifier produced by hashing the IP address.

Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to precontractual steps requested by the data subject. For institutional and organisational contacts, Article 6(1)(f) applies to Focus Europe’s legitimate interest in maintaining dialogue and responding to enquiries. Website security and abuse prevention rely on Article 6(1)(f); compliance with legal obligations relies on Article 6(1)(c).

The form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional communications. The privacy checkbox acknowledges that you have read this notice; it is not marketing consent. There is no profiling or automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Mandatory fields are necessary to process and submit your enquiry through the form. Other fields are optional. You can also contact us directly by email or telephone.

Handling and recipients

Enquiries are forwarded as plain-text email to info@focuseurope.org. The website does not create a contact database or a public message archive. Authorised Focus Europe staff and collaborators may access the information relevant to responding to your enquiry.

Netsons provides hosting and technical services. Email providers and other service providers may also be involved and are appointed as processors where required. Other disclosures take place where needed to respond to the enquiry or comply with legal obligations. Enquiry data is not made public.

External websites, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are accessed through ordinary links. No social widgets or embedded videos load during browsing. Following a link opens a separate service governed by its provider’s privacy notice and terms, including any applicable international transfers. These services are not required to use our form.

Retention

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle them and normally for no more than 12 months after the enquiry is closed. If a contractual relationship follows, or legal obligations or the establishment and defence of rights require it, relevant information may be retained for the applicable periods. Correspondence is managed in the mailbox; the form does not automatically delete emails.

The form token expires logically after 30 minutes and is removed from the session following a successful submission. Temporary antispam files contain only an IP hash, a counter and timestamps. Their control window is 15 minutes; expired files are deleted on a subsequent request to the form service. Session files and hosting logs also follow the provider’s operational and security retention and cleanup mechanisms.

Cookies and external content

The website does not use visitor analytics, advertising cookies, social pixels or profiling tools. Images and stylesheets are hosted on this website. System fonts are used, with no requests to external font services.

The technical cookie DE_CONTACT is created when a visitor requests form submission. It identifies the session used for the security token. It lasts for the browser session and applies to the /api/ path. The server token is valid for 30 minutes. The cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS.

This technical cookie supports a function requested by the visitor and does not require prior consent, so the website has no cookie consent banner. Blocking or deleting this cookie in your browser may prevent form submission. Email and telephone remain available.

Activity photographs

The real photographs on this website document Focus Europe’s educational activities and experiences. Publication relates to the purposes covered by the authorisations collected. Releases and related records are retained by the organisation that collected them and are not published online.

People concerned, or a child’s parent or legal guardian, may contact privacy@focuseurope.org, identifying the relevant page and image. Requests for correction, removal or other safeguards are assessed in accordance with the individual’s rights and the applicable grounds for processing.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions and limits in Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, request portability. Where a specific processing activity relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Contact privacy@focuseurope.org to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
